STEP 2
On the plotter there are sets of scales. Each scale represents a loading station somewhere in the aircraft. A scale can represent passengers, baggage, fuel, or even cargo aircaft loading stations.

On our Lear 31A, lets add 400 lbs.for the first row of passengers.

Place the zero tick mark of the appropriate scale on the BOW point and draw upscale to 400 lbs.

If you are not sure which scale represents which seat or baggage compartment, just refer to the diagram located on the plotter.

Now you know what the weight and CG are for the aircraft with the first row full.
